Reception Admissions Information
Places available
Fulfen Primary School has 60 Reception places across two classes. Each class has a teacher and teaching assistant.
Children normally start Reception in the September after their fourth birthday.
Staffordshire County Council is responsible for allocating Reception places.
Admissions for September 2027
Applications open: 1st November 2026
Applications close: 15th January 2027
Offer day: 16th April 2027

Open Mornings
Our Open Mornings are an opportunity to meet the Headteacher, tour the school and ask any questions.
September 2027 Reception Open Mornings:
Thursday 19th November: 9:15–10:00am or 10:15–11:00am
Thursday 3rd December: 2:00–2:45pm
Thursday 7th January: 9:15–10:00am or 10:15–11:00am
Places are limited, so please only book if you are able to attend.
