What is your favourite book and why?

I read so many books that my favourite one changes often! Most recently, my favourite story to read is 'The Bog Baby'. It is a beautiful story with lovely illustrations and a very important message.

Tell me an interesting fact about yourself.

Lots of my friends call me the mad animal lady. If I hadn't become a teacher, I would have loved to have been a vet because I love animals. I have owned many pets- from tiny lizards to giant horses! 

What was your favourite subject at school?

My favourite subject at school was English. I loved writing fantasy stories and poetry and often won competitions at school for my imaginative writing. 

Who would you most like to go for a coffee with?

It would have to be David Attenborough! I have grown up watching his nature documentaries and sharing his passion for conservation. I think it is amazing how he has inspired millions of people to care more about our planet. 

If you were a character from a book who would you like to be?

I would love to be Hermione Granger. She is brilliant, brave, and always stands up for what’s right- and of course she has mastered powerful magic!
