Happy New Year!

Welcome back - we hope everybody enjoyed the Christmas break. 

In maths for the next couple of weeks, we are looking at multiplication and division.  If you get a spare few minutes, practise your tables at home.  You should know your 2,5 and 10 times tables off by heart.  I will attach a speed test sheet below - how fast can you answer all the questions? Repeat the same task regularly - can you beat your score?  

In English, we have started reading a story call "Whatever Wanda Wanted" by Jude Wisdom - the children are loving this story about a very spoilt young lady!  

We are still looking at suffixes.  Now we are adding er and est to adjectives: happy - happier - happiest.  Can you explain the rules we are learning to your parents?

Please note that our PE days are now on a Friday - we are doing gymnastics this half term so you child will need their indoor PE kit.
