Money, money, money!

Wow, Year 1 have been extremely busy this week! All of the children (and the staff) have enjoyed their first week back after Easter .

We have been playing shops in our maths lessons this week whereby we had to select the right amount of money to buy ourselves either a toy, book or a pencil! The shopkeepers had to make sure the other customers provided them with the correct amount of money and they even had to work out the correct change!

In our Science lesson we explored the great outdoors investigating Spring changes, we had to pick our moment due to the sudden hail storms that appeared! However, we did manage to observe different seasonal changes and we spotted some Spring bulbs beginning to bloom.
